Join the Rutgers University Singers on Sunday, November 2nd, for a special concert, “Saluting Our Veterans.”  RU Singers will perform with the Temple University Concert Choir and the Philharmonic of South Jersey at Eastern Regional High School (1401 Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees, NJ) at 3 p.m. as they honor veterans across the region.

This all-American program, and features “Dreams of the Fallen,” with powerful music by Jake Runestad and text by poet and Iraq War veteran Brian Turner.  The Philharmonic co-commissioned this work with a small consortium of orchestras from around the country.  Actor and veteran Dan Lauria (“The Wonder Years”) narrates Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait.”
