The Writers in Camden Series continued on Wednesday, February 19th, with readings by writers Jessica Hagedorn and Rachel Pastan.  The reading begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Stedman Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Building.  This event is free and open to the public.

Jessica Hagedorn’s most recent novel is Toxicology. She is also the author of the novels Dogeaters, which was a National Book Award finalist, The Gangster of Love, Dream Jungle, and a collection of poetry and short fiction, Danger and Beauty. A former Guggenheim fellow, she edited the Asian American literary anthology Charlie Chan is Dead. She currently directs the MFA program at Long Island University. 

Rachel Pastan is the author of the novels Lady of the Snakes (Harcourt) and This Side of Married (Viking). A member of the core faculty of the Bennington Writing Seminars, she is also Editor-at-Large for the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, where she writes the blog Miranda. Her new novel, Alena, will be published in January.
